Bishop of Ilesa Anglican Diocese, Osun State, Right Reverend (Dr) Olubayo Sowale, has called on Christians to dedicate their talents to the service of God.
He stated this at the end of the eighth edition of the Jesus Celebration programme organised by Ilesa Diocese, held at the Cathedral Church of St John, Iloro, Ilesa.
The 15-day programme was held from January 15 to 29.
Delivering a sermon at the thanksgiving service which had as its theme, Awake, Bishop Sowale called on Christians to use their talents for Jesus .
He also called on parents to allow their children participate actively in church activities, with the view to winning souls.
The bishop appreciated the efforts of the coordinator of the programme, Venerable Ojuade, Venerable Falemi, and other members, who contributed in no small measure to its success.
The highlight of the programme was the conversion of 40 new souls and they were presented with the Holy Bible donated by Bishop Olowo Kure (retd).
