Chelsie Baham, a 27-year-old nonprofit director, has emerged victorious in the highly anticipated finale of Big Brother America Season 26, claiming the $750,000 grand prize.
Baham, who was one of three finalists, secured the unanimous vote from the jury, triumphing over fellow competitors Makensy Manbeck, a 22-year-old construction project manager, and Cam Sullivan-Brown, a 25-year-old physical therapist. Makensy took home $75,000 for finishing in second place.
In an exciting twist, viewers were also given the chance to vote for their favourite houseguest.
Tucker Des Lauriers, a 30-year-old marketing and sales executive, captured fans’ hearts, earning himself a $50,000 cash reward as the season’s “America’s Favourite Player.”
The season, which began on July 17 with 16 houseguests, was widely praised for its unpredictable nature and exciting gameplay.
Viewers followed the action closely as contestants navigated life in a house monitored by over 90 cameras and 100 microphones, recording their every move 24/7.
Each week, a contestant was evicted, leading up to Baham’s victory.
