Change must change in 2019 elections ― Bishop Johnson

THE Anglican Bishop Of Awori Diocese, Rt Reverend Johnson Atere, has said that change must change in the coming elections, urging Nigerians to vote as God has directed them.

The Bishop made this known during the 60th Founders’ Day Commemoration Service Of The Grange School, held recently in Lagos.

The Bishop said the country needs a leader who has both spiritual and secular level of God.

“Don’t bother about the level of campaigns. What do you worth? Vote as God as directed you because things must change and change must change.

“We have had enough educated illiterates. We want those who will have the secular and spiritual level of God.

Meanwhile, The Spiritual Leader said that that lack of respect for education is the cause of terrorism in the country, calling parents to invest meaningfully on their children by teaching them the fear of God.

He said that value would have been placed on lives if the terrorists were well educated.

“We don’t respect education. If you notice where we have terrorists, look at their level of education. If they had been well educated, they would value life.

“That even Jesus started from home. The children to your parents are pounds and God wants you to invest and bring back gain on these investments.

“The fear of God is the completion of education. If it is not part of them they may be destroyed.

“Fearing God is that you must respect him. This God is holy. When you know the truth about knowledge, that truth will set you free.

“There’s no wisdom that can take you back to heaven except the wisdom and knowledge of God,” The Bishop said.
