Permit me to felicitate with your widely read newspaper on the occasion of your 67th birthday celebration.
The Nigerian Tribune has, in no small measure, played a major role in stabilising democracy in our country, Nigeria, a role which it is still playing. The newspaper has also been uniting the Yoruba race through its yearly Odua programmes and various Yoruba meetings.
The Awolowo family and all the staff have, in one way or the other, contributed immensely towards attaining this feat.
I am not only celebrating the Tribune at 67, but also celebrating Pa Obafemi Awolowo and Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo for this great vision that is now yielding positive result which we are all enjoying.
I equally congratulate and appreciate the Editor-in-Chief for making my voice to be heard by publishing my articles, thereby making me to contribute to the development of my community and Nigeria as a whole.
Nigeria will definitely be great again.
