Cee Shine returns with new single, Armageddon

Fast-rising artiste who may be taking the Nigerian music industry by storm through his unique and diverse blends of styles, Benedith Somkelechi Mbafotu, popularly known as Cee Shine, has made a comeback with the release of a new single entitled “Armageddon”.

The dancehall song making waves on all digital platforms across the globe is a song revealing the journey and intrigues of day-to-day life, including the need to party after the hustle and bustle of achieving success.

The Imo State-born entertainer noted that the song featured another rising rapper, Cameo Huzla, who delivered an excellent indigenous bar with an energetic melody, while he described the song as the song of the year, hinting that a video is underway.

“Yes, there is a new song that I featured, Cameo Huzla, a rapper. The title of the song is ARMAGEDDON. It’s going to be the song of the year. We have shot the video, too, and it will be aired on some major stations soon. We tagged the single-hit song of the year. Go listen to it and tell us how you rated it.

“It was a talent discovered from a tender age. At 12 years old, I joined a choir group in my homestead, thereby becoming one of their lead vocalists then; thereafter, I relent not in building my aspiration of becoming an artiste,” he said.

Ceeshine, who is also a serial entrepreneur, revealed that he drives joy working hard to make money, adding, “I have worked relentlessly in the past to raise money to build myself and my music career. The tenacity and spirit of getting it right in me compelled me to save more and spend less.

“It wasn’t easy, but in all, I thank Almighty God for His mercy that today, via my concerted effort, I now have a water factory that produces Cee Shine purified table water, a loan company, and a cloth line. I am an entrepreneur presently, using the little I make to push my music. And whatever I get from shows, I plow it back into my business. It has been Almighty God all the way. I am grateful for His grace over me,” he added.
