Captured under the state’s safe city project, Ajimobi said the installation of CCTVs in business-concentrated areas, hotspots and other strategic locations would commence before the end of the year.

Ajimobi who spoke at governor’s office, Ibadan, when he received the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Stuart Symington, said the state was gravitating towards attending to security using technology.
In this light, Ajimobi added that the state would also have emergency lines and command centre to respond to security issues identified cum reported.
He sought further support of the US government in human capital development, social infrastructure, health among others.
Speaking, the US Ambassador, Symington, noted that countries of the world continued to want to associate with Nigeria because of its avowed togetherness and greatness.
Symington asserted willingness of the US government to partnering with state governments towards improving socioeconomic wellbeing of people.
