CCIC announces camp meeting 2017 with Nathaniel Bassey

THE Voice of Faith Ministries, popularly known as Christ Chapel International Churches (CCIC) has stated through its founding pastors, Reverend Dr Tunde and Reverend (Mrs) Ebun Joda, that its annual Camp meeting 2017 will commence on Tuesday October 17 and end on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the ministry’s International Headquarters auditorium located at Raji Rasaki Estate, Amuwo, an outskirt of Lagos.

Top ministers of God slated to grace the event include Reverend Dr Matthew Ashimolowo, Senior Pastor of KICC International, Reverend Tunde Bakare, Senior Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly and Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assemblies (COZA).

Other ministers include, Pastor Poju Oyemade of Covenant Christian Centre (CCC); Dr Tokunbo Adejuwon of the Rhema Bible Training Centre Nigeria and Pastor (Mrs) Funke Felix Adejumo, founder of Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation. Reverend Dr Biodun Adedipe, a CCIC pastor who at different times served as a World Bank Consultant and member of the Economic Team of the Nigerian Government and Pastor Nnamdi Ezeigbo, an entrepreneur and CEO of SLOT Systems Limited will handle special sessions on Business and Entrepreneurship.

To bring the programmes of the 2017 Camp meeting of Christ Chapel International Churches (CCIC) to a grand climax, celebrated worship leader and gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey will be ministering on Sunday morning October 22 inside the auditorium of the Church

This galaxy of anointed men and woman of God would be ministering the Gospel of Christ to a congregation that is expected to come from all over Nigeria and abroad while the hosts, Rev Dr Tunde and Rev Mrs Ebun Joda will be on hand to receive these men and woman of God with leaders of other churches, gospel artistes and psalmists, among others.

Speaking to the extent of planning for Camp meeting 2017, chairman of the Planning Committee, Reverend Dr Ayo Ayodele who is stepping into that position for the first time stated that, “We have been on this preparation since the last day of the 2016 edition of Camp meeting. This is to make certain that the 2017 edition which, unlike the last, will involve all the centres of CCIC in Nigeria and abroad, apart from alumni, guests and friends of the ministry, is without hitches.

“Whatever needed to be done have been done and we are only waiting on the Lord to do that which only Him can do. Remember, it His Church and we are privileged to be co-labourers with Him.”

Bassey who is unarguably one of Nigeria’s greatest gospel music export, is making his first appearance at Camp meeting, which is marking its 36th year and to bring the programmes of Camp meeting 2017 to a close.  From relative obscurity, Nathaniel Bassey has made consistent his rise to the top of the gospel music space in Nigeria and beyond. “The Hallelujah Challenge” a 30-day praise and worship session which he initiated and led from June 1-30 saw millions of people in Nigeria and beyond worshipping together live from 12.00 midnight to 1.00a.m every day
