Canard Duchene hosts brunch in Lagos

Champagne Canard Duchene has hosted a brunch to launch Chef Fregz, Fregz a Porter in partnership with The Temple Management Company.

Canard Duchêne was created purely out of love, when a barrel-maker called Victor Canard met a winemaker’s daughter called Léonie Duchêne and they fell madly in love and through their great passion for wines, they worked together to produce their own unique Champagne, Canard Duchêne.

Speaking at the launching,The Managing Director Canard Duchêne, West Africa, Larry Maduagwu said the brand still stays true to the heart of its heritage, mixing family history with a passion for the finer things.

Larry expressed optimism that the brand will welcomed by all and sundry due to its heritage and passion for family values.

“In the future, Champagne Canard Duchêne hopes to become a brand that is enjoyed by Nigerians not because of its superior taste but more importantly because of the brand’s heritage and a unique passion for family values that has allowed it to stand the test of time” He said.

Music filled the air as guests were treated to cross cultural culinary delicacies, while sipping on gorgeously mixed champagne cocktails.

Also, at the brunch style launch event were champagne enthusiasts and connoisseurs looking forward to tasting champagne that is different from all other brands presently oversaturated in the Nigerian market.
