Canadian immigration tech founder forges partnership with Nigerians

The founder and CEO behind the innovative immigration tech startup Shirah and the ed-tech platform Studendly, Ms Bukky Wonda, has touched down in Nigeria to forge valuable partnerships for individuals, families, and businesses seeking to make Canada their new home.

Wonda’s tour to Nigeria between February 3rd and February 17th, with strategic engagements in Abuja and Lagos, is targeted at the final leg of the #Shirah2Africa tour after making waves in Zimbabwe and Kenya.

It was gathered that Ms. Wonda’s drive for Shirah and Studendly was fueled by her vision to make dreams of relocating to Canada a reality, especially for Africans.

Shirah and Studendly offer solutions that eliminate the confusion, uncertainty, and waste of time and money that make the immigration process so difficult and lengthy.

Originally a consultancy for those relocating to Canada, Shirah has evolved into a tech-driven startup creating immigration solutions for individuals and businesses.

Their latest innovation, the never-done-before Predictive Calculator, set to launch this February, promises to revolutionise how people approach their immigration needs.

The Predictive Calculator removes the uncertainty and confusion of the process by allowing users to enter their details and get tailored recommendations on the next steps to take in minutes!

Users can also get support from Shirah’s trained and registered consultants at any stage of the process.

Speaking to the press ahead of her tour, Ms Wonda reiterated why Shirah and Studendly are focused on creating solutions for Africa and Africans.

“I firmly believe that some of the most innovative solutions to global challenges will emerge from Africa and its diaspora. At Studendly and Shirah, we’re committed to being at the forefront of this innovation,” she affirmed.

Shirah caters to individuals who want to relocate or establish businesses in Canada, while Studendly’s educational solutions bridge the gap between international students and Canadian secondary and tertiary institutions.

“Access to quality education is crucial for youth worldwide, particularly in Africa. That’s why we built Studendly to provide opportunities for our youth to thrive in today’s competitive landscape,” Ms Wonda explained.

During her time in Nigeria, Ms Wonda will headline a webinar session in collaboration with the innovation tech hub Seedbuilders.

Targeted at Nigerian startup founders and entrepreneurs considering a move to Canada, this session will provide invaluable insights into navigating the Canadian startup ecosystem.

Shirah and Studendly are eager to forge partnerships across various sectors, including media, government, education, and tourism.

It is expected that interested attendees will explore shirah2africatour.shirah.co to learn more about the programme

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive session and gain firsthand knowledge from Ms Wonda herself.

She will also be available to offer tailored guidance to individuals embarking on their journey to visit, attend school, or gain permanent residency in Canada.
