An international policy and development consultant who doubles as the convener of the Crossroads of Culture Festival, Mr Chuks Anyaduba has been honoured by the Canadian House of Commons for his outstanding contribution to international tourism and development.

He has been at the forefront of driving the Flavours of Nigeria Festival, Afro Fashion Marketplace, and Afro Commerce Connect beyond the shores of this country.

Days ago, he hosted the colourful Crossroads of Culture Festival in Canada, which had the distinguished presence of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Reacting to the recognition in a social media post, Anyaduba said, “I am deeply honoured to receive the Special Recognition Award from the House of Commons Canada for my outstanding contribution to international tourism & development.

“This recognition is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the collective success of initiatives like the Crossroads of Culture, particularly the Flavours of Nigeria Festival.”

According to Anyaduba, these projects have not only celebrated the rich tapestry of Nigerian cultures but have also fostered communal unity, empowerment, and the promotion of multiculturalism within Canada.

He also expressed gratitude to the member of parliament representing Brampton Centre, Shafqat Ali, for the honour, pledging to remain committed to furthering the positive impact of international tourism and cultural development in Nigeria & Canada.

“I dedicate this award to all the team members of Crossroads of Culture Festival who worked tirelessly within a short notice to make the project a success. Special thanks to Mr Ajibade Oduntan for making this possible,” he added.
