Cameroonian arraigned for allegedly stabbing Nigerian employer to death

FOR allegedly murdering Nigerian employer, a Cameroonian, Leudjou Joel, has been arraigned before an Igbosere High Court.

Joel, who worked as a cleaner for his 33-year-old late employer, Miss Dayo  Eniola in the Ikoyi area of Lagos, it was gathered allegedly stabbed his employer to death sometimes in December 2016.

According to the Attorney General of Lagos State, Mr Adeniyi Kazeem, the foreigner stabbed his Nigerian employer to death over his rejected request for a salary advance.

Joel allegedly committed the crime at No 15, Prince Tayo Adesanya Street, Park View Estate, Ikoyi, and Lagos.

Joel was arraigned on a one-count charge bothering on murder.

Joel, however, pleaded not guilty to the one count charge of murder.

The presiding Judge, Justice Adedayo Akintoye ordered that Joel is remanded at the Ikoyi Prison and thereafter adjourned the matter till January 18, 2018, for trial.
