Published by

After extensive beta testing, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has finally launched globally on both iOS and Android platforms.

The mobile version brings the beloved Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps to players’ fingertips, along with cross-progression for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III players and connectivity with the PC/console Warzone version.

For gamers wielding iPhone 15 Pro models and iPads equipped with M1 chips or newer, an enhanced gaming experience awaits with the introduction of a “Peak Graphics” mode. This mode elevates the visuals with improved textures and resolution.

To dive into the action, users will need iOS 16/iPadOS 16 or later. The game has been available for pre-order since November 2022, amassing over 50 million pre-registrations worldwide.

Since its inception in 2010, the Call of Duty franchise has amassed a staggering 111 million players globally across various platforms and game modes.

Here are five key features of the new mobile game:

Record-Breaking Live Player Count: The mobile iteration boasts one of the highest live player counts in any mobile FPS battle royale game ever, with players battling against up to 120 real opponents.

Verdansk Returns: Veteran players will delight in the return of the iconic Verdansk map, a legendary battleground from the original Call of Duty: Warzone.

Smart Control Features: Warzone Mobile isn’t a mere port; it’s a meticulously redesigned experience tailored for mobile devices. Innovative features include a new tilting mechanism that allows players to adjust their aim by simply tilting their device, offering a new level of precision. Additionally, smart move technology aids in executing complex movements effortlessly.

Cross-Progression: The game introduces a groundbreaking cross-progression feature, ensuring seamless synchronisation of unlockable items, Battle Pass progression, and more across PC, console, and mobile platforms.

Diverse Game Modes: In addition to the signature battle royale mode, Warzone Mobile offers classic Call of Duty multiplayer experiences such as Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Team Deathmatch. These modes come accompanied by a selection of classic maps, including Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard.

And perhaps best of all, the game is free to play in most countries around the world, making it accessible to gamers everywhere.
