A bus has rammed into the family compound of the late Alhaji Abdulsafur, a former village head in Lambata community in the Gurara local government area of Niger State and killed a pregnant woman who was said to be among other travellers sleeping in front of the building.
Tribune Online gathered that the ill-fated bus driver was said to be at high speed, and on his way from Lagos, travelling to Kano as he lost control and rammed into the building, killing one of the women sleeping in front of the house.
The woman whose identity was not identified as of the time of filing this report on Sunday in Minna was said to be waiting for her colleagues who were held in a traffic jam around the Diko area.
The case was said to have been reported at the Gawu Babangida Police Division under the State Police Command.
