Burna Boy’s UK tour progresses

Following the success of his Homecoming Concert in London in 2016, Burnaboy is currently in the United Kingdom for his second tour; this time a club tour ‘Burnaboy Underrated’.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, is an Afro-fusion and Dancehall recording artist, songwriter and performing artiste, born to Bosede and Samuel Ogulu in Port Harcourt on the 2nd of July 1991.

Burna Boy rose to prominence in 2012 following the release of ‘Like to Party’, the first single off his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’(Leaving an Impact For Eternity) which was released in 2013.

The L.I.F.E album is critically acclaimed as one of the best projects out of Nigeria. In November 2015, he released his sophomore album titled ‘On A Spaceship’ to rave reviews. In 2016, he released an EP titled ‘Redemption’. The Underrated tour is a multiple city club tour which will be running from the 25 of January to the 6 of March 2017.

While Burnaboy was in the UK in 2016, he had several studio sessions with top acts like Lily Allen and Wretch 32. He is currently in the studio working on new material. His latest single ‘Mandem Anthem’, which was recorded and its video filmed in the UK, is enjoying massive airplay both locally and internationally.
