Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, has been nominated for Manager of the Year at the 2025 Music Week Awards.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, with Ogulu competing against top industry names in the highly competitive category.
The Music Week Awards recognise excellence in the global music industry, with winners determined through a combination of peer voting and an independent panel of judges.
The awards ceremony will take place on May 8 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, United Kingdom.
This nomination is not Ogulu’s first international recognition.
In 2022, she won the Manager of the Year award at the Artist & Manager Awards in London, solidifying her reputation as a powerhouse in artist management.
As a linguist, business strategist, and co-founder of the Spaceship Collective, Ogulu has played a pivotal role in Burna Boy’s rise to global stardom and the expansion of Afrobeats on the international stage.
