Popular Afrobeats artist, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has shared his holiday plans, revealing that he intends to spend the festive season with his grandmother.
In a recent post on his social media page, Burna Boy mentioned that his grandmother had always expressed a desire for him to return home.
Highlighting the sentimental background to his hit song, “Thanks,” Burna Boy expressed, “In the past, my grandmother used to be the one urging me to come back home.
“Now, whenever I return, she’s visibly anxious and already inquiring about when I’ll be leaving. This is the inspiration behind ‘Thanks.'”
He further elaborated, “I’ve decided to accompany only her this December for the sake of tranquility and harmony.”
