Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo has emerged as one of the most impactful leaders in Nigeria, earning accolades for his exemplary contributions to governance, development, and humanity. His rise to prominence began as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), where his leadership brought unprecedented reforms.

During his tenure, Dr. Tunji-Ojo worked tirelessly to instill transparency and accountability in the NDDC, ensuring that funds meant for development projects were judiciously utilized. Under his watch, infrastructural projects were revitalized, abandoned projects were completed, and the Commission’s operations were streamlined to meet the needs of the Niger Delta people. His dedication to the welfare of the region’s residents demonstrated his commitment to equity and justice.

In his current position as the Honorable Minister of Interior, Dr. Tunji-Ojo has continued to set high standards of governance. He has introduced innovative reforms to improve border security, enhance immigration services, and modernize Nigeria’s internal security architecture. His initiatives to simplify passport issuance and upgrade national security measures have brought significant relief to Nigerians, showcasing his commitment to efficiency and progress.

Dr. Tunji-Ojo’s contributions extend beyond his official duties. A proud son of Akoko in Ondo State, he has consistently championed the cause of his people. Through scholarships, skill acquisition programs, and infrastructure projects, he has empowered countless individuals and contributed to the socio-economic development of his community. His unwavering support for youth empowerment and education has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth in Akoko and Ondo State at large.

At the national level, his visionary approach and passion for development have left a lasting impact on Nigeria’s progress. Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo exemplifies the ideals of leadership that prioritizes the people’s welfare above personal gains. His dedication, integrity, and innovative mindset have solidified his position as a leader who works not just for today but for the future.

Dr. Tunji-Ojo’s journey is a testament to what transformative leadership can achieve. His story continues to inspire hope and confidence in the potential for progress, both in his home state and across Nigeria.
I will like to plead to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria , president Bola Amhed Tinubu to put him in another ministry where reformation is needed before this political dispensation runs out in order to replicate what he has done to revamp ministry of interior.

Finally, I appreciate him for his immense contributions to the development and the promotions of the All progressives congress APC in his immediately ward, local government, federal constituency and Ondo State in general in term of releasing adequate logistics to fund the party.
