Building our teachers’ competence

Published by

The government should not be left alone in the drive to ensure that our teachers get the best in the area of improved access to global resources in teaching. All of us especially in the private sector should come in.

The management of Kudos Learning Solutions Specialty Publications should be commended for its regional workshop organised for primary school teachers in English, French and Mathematics.

Teachers in those subjects were taken through practical and pedagogical knowledge in those subjects at the workshop in Savannah Hotel, Ilorin, for Kwara axis, which I attended. What interested me most was the quality of materials delivered by their facilitators.

The materials were superb, and free gifts like textbooks and cash were equally given to participants. Others should emulate them.
