Buhari’s media advocacy coordinator abducted in Osun

The Osun State coordinator of Buhari Media Advocacy (BMO), Comrade Adeboye Adebayo was on Thursday abducted by unknown gunmen in Osogbo.

Though details of the kidnap were sketchy as of the time of writing this report, Nigerian Tribune reliably gathered that the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain was abducted at his residence located at Kunfayakun , Oke- Oniti area of the metropolis.

He was said to have been whisked away by his abductors in a blue colour Toyota Camry car towards Otaefun area along the expressway that leads to Ikirun.

But, when contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Osun State Police command, Mrs. Folasade Odoro said the incident had not been reported to the Police.

Commenting on the development, the director of publicity, research, and strategy of the APC in Osun, Barrister Kunle Oyatomi said he does not have details about the incident.

He, however, said that that “if it is true, that indicates that a worrisome dimension has been introduced into pre-election politics. But, we are pleading with his abductors to release him unconditionally.”
