Buhari signs 2018 budget

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2018 Appropriation Bill into law.

He appended his signature to the document inside the Aso Chamber of the presidential villa, Abuja on Wednesday.

The event was witnessed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senator Ibrahim Ibn Na’Allah, who represented Senate President Bukola Saraki; Hon. Ado Doguwa, who represented Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; Chief of Staff to the president, Abba Kyari, ministers and other top government officials.

The president had indicated that he signed the budget grudgingly in order not to further delay it.
