Buhari returns to Abuja

He was received on the tarmac by the Chief of Staff, Abby Kyari, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Muhammad Bello, the Inspector General of Police, Idris Abubakar, among other dignitaries.

Buhari arrived his official residence at the presidential villa about 30 minutes later.

President Buhari had left the country on Sunday, September 17 to participate in UNGA.

At the end of his engagements, he left New York for London for what was apparently a private visit.

Buhari had recently returned from London after spending about 104 days on medical vacation.
