President Muhammadu Buhari is right now presiding over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
It is the first time he is doing so for about three weeks.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has presided over the last three meetings of the council in the absence of the president.

Recall that Buhari was on an official visit and lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia before proceeding on a private visit to the United Kingdom.
Shortly before the commencement of today’s meeting, the council observed a minute silence in honour of former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Chief Ufott Ekaete and former Minister of Information, Chief Alex Akinyele, both of who died recently.
