Buhari officially declares intention for 2nd term

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has officially announced his intention to run for a second term of Office in the 2019 elections.

The Presidency declared this on its Twitter handle Monday quoted: “President has just announced his intention to seek the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contest for a second term of Office in the 2019 elections.”

This was following the announcement by the Personal Assistant to Buhari on New Media, also via his Twitter account.

“BREAKING: President Muhammadu Buhari has just officially announced his intention to seek re-election in 2019. Details soon…” Bashir Ahmad tweeted.
