PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has nominated new Managing Director and chairman for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The president, according to sources, has sent letters seeking the confirmation of Mr Nsima Ekere, a former deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State as the new Managing Director of the commission and the former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, as the chairman of NDDC.
Though the Senate was yet to read the letter, it was confirmed that the Presidency had dispatched it and that it could be read at the Senate plenary today.
