Buhari has stemmed the tide of corruption in Nigeria ― Founder BCO

THE founder, Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), Alhaji Isiaka Hassan has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari, has in the last three and half years stem the tide of corruption in Nigeria and thus deserves a second term to institutionalise all the positive changes he has initiated into the Nigerian system.

Alhaji Hassan made this known on Tuesday while addressing the audience at a ceremony to commission BCO campaign office at Roundabout, Mokola, Ibadan.

The building a three bedroom flat was commissioned by the south-west Coordinator of BCO, who was in the company of other zonal officers of BCO.

Hassan said “It is evident to every Nigerians that President Muhammadu has brought back integrity into the administration of government in Nigeria. He has been able to demonstrate that what Nigeria lacked in the past and needs now is honesty as the fulcrum of leadership in the country.

“Having espoused this, he has also ensured that security of the country has been returned at 90 per cent rate, notwithstanding the recent outburst which the reason is known to all. With this, we at the BCO believed that what is next is for the country to give him another mandate to institutionalise these reforms and set Nigeria on the path to greatness.”

The Southwest zonal Coordinator, Dr Tunji Adeniji disclosed that the zonal chapter has concluded plans to commence a house-to-house campaign to mobilise electorate for re-election bid of President Mohammed Buhari ahead of the 2019 general elections.

He further revealed willingness of the group to mobilise grassroots for President Buhari while unveiling a campaign office for Buhari in 2019 in Ibadan.

The Secretary Southwest Arewa youths, Tijjani Urmar Tanko, while alluding to the performance of President Buhari in the last three years said he was unable to secure a job for many years after he graduated from university but with the empower program of President Buhari, he has been able to care for his family.

He said: “Buhari has done well for this country. For instance, on the issue of employment, Buhari has helped many people by getting jobs on merit. He employed many people into empower programme.

“For us in Arewa in the Southwest, we are just like second class citizens but we are hopeful that when Buhari wins his second term, the narratives will change. It is important for politicians in the region to know that we are all Nigerians.”
