Buhari asks Senate to confirm Izuwah, DG ICRC

President Muhammadu Buhari has requested the Senate to confirm Mr Chidi Izuwah as Director- General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission(ICRC).

The president in a letter dated Oct. 19, urged the senate to expeditiously confirm the nominee.

The letter was read by the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, at plenary on Tuesday.

Similarly, the president asked the senate to confirm Mr Kabir Nakura as Chairman of the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

This is contained in a letter dated Oct. 24 and addressed to the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki.

In the letter, Buhari also asked the senate to confirm Mr Akinola Bashir – South-West, Prof. Moses Momoh – South-South and Mr Wallijo Ahijoh – North-Central as members of the board.

Others are: Mr Adamu Modu -North-East and Nwafo Chukwudi -South-East.
