Brothers’ organisation presents N14.8 million cheque to three ailing members⁣

A Non profit Organisation , Brothers Across Nigeria (BAN) also known as Buccaneers Confraternity has presented cheques of N4,951,000.00 each to three of its members who are suffering from different ailments.⁣

The financial assistance is part of the welfare packages for members to assist them offset their medical bills and in recuperation as well.⁣

Recall that few months ago, BAN presented a cheque of N28.6 million to five families of deceased members. This gesture was applauded by well meaning individuals and organizations across the country and beyond.

The three beneficiaries of this welfare package include Banjo Kamorudeen Olu in Ogun State, Ageh Ambrose Daniel in Rivers State and Onokpite Ufuoma in Delta State.⁣

BAN also assists its members who have business ideas with interest free funds to invest in their  businesses. Members apply for such business support loans through the BAN Empowerment Commission, the application is considered, approved and given to members who apply. It is not only interest-free but collateral free as well, this is because the organisation believes that being a member is enough collateral. ⁣

The humanitarian deeds of the body are not limited to its members alone, it echoes in the larger society and host communities of its many chapters worldwide. BAN as an organisation is well reputed for giving back to the community through its qualitative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outings in Nigeria and internationally.⁣

The organisation has been in existence since 1972 as a University organisation and has grown over the years into an international organisation operating in over 50 countries across the globe.
