Brother kills sibling’s children in Ogun

A middle-year-old man, Taye Agbaje, has confessed to the killing of two of his sibling children in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The incident was reported to have happened at Kemta Abata in the city capital, last Saturday, when he took his victims into a bush and murdered them.

NIGERIAN TRIBUNE learnt that the father of the victims return from work and could not trace their whereabouts.

It was gathered that the father raised the alarm after the children did not return home when it was getting late, and was told by members of the community that his brother was the one that took the children away on his motorbike.

When contacted the Police Public Relations Officer for Ogun Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident.

He described the incident as incomprehensible, saying the suspect showed no remorse while being interrogated by the police, stating that he kept blaming satan for the act.

“The suspect didn’t give any specific reason why he killed his brother’s children. There was no any sign of remorse. He’s just saying blaming satan, satan; and that does not exist in law,” Odutola said.
