British Female tourist killed in Kajuru ― Police

Kaduna State Police Command has revealed the identity of the foreign female tourist who was killed at a recreational resort in Kajuru town of Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State.

She was identified as Miss Faye Mooney, a Briton according to the state Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo on Sunday.

He said continuous efforts are still on course to rescue the kidnapped victims and bring the perpetrators to book.

It will be recalled that the kidnappers attacked the popular Kajuru Castle around 11:30am on Friday.

The deceased in company of 12 others came from Lagos to catch fun.

However, the female expatriate was gunned down by the kidnappers.

“We understand she was gunned down from the hill by the kidnappers who tried to gain entrance into the castle but failed.

“They took away about five other persons since last night but one person among them escaped,” he said.

DSP Sabo, while confirming the incident in a statement today, said only two persons were killed.
