BREAKING: Why we demolished AIT building ― FCT Minister

THE Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello has reacted to the demolition of building hosting the African Independent Television (AIT) in Abuja, saying it violated the development control laws.

The building, which belongs to the DAAR Communications, was demolished early hours of today (Tuesday) by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Reacting to the development at a press briefing in Abuja, the minister, who was represented by the Coordinator of Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), Umar Shuaibu, said the building violated laid down laws, hence, the need to pull it down.
