BREAKING: UNGA President meets Buhari in Abuja

President of the United Nations General Assembly, Prof Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, has met President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This is Muhammad-Bande’s first working visit to Nigeria since his election as UNGA President since June.

Muhammad-Bande was elected President of the 74th session of UNGA on June 4 by acclamation to serve for one year.
