BREAKING: Senate to exclusively discuss security

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would, on Wednesday, exclusively exhaustively discuss the security situation of the country at plenary.

Senate President, Ahmed Lawan listed other areas of focus for the Senate in the weeks ahead to include bills it considered critical to the economy and political development of Nigeria.

According to the Senate President: “Senate further resolved to fastrack of Petroleum Industry bills, electoral act amendment bills.”

He said the Senate would also carry out “power sector reform to provide more energy to Nigerians and solid minerals development strategies and agricultural enhancement across Nigeria.”
