BREAKING: Security men, cleaners protest in UCH over unpaid salaries

Published by

There was pandemonium at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, early on Monday morning, as security men and cleaners of the hospital staged protest at the hospital premises.

The protesting workers who began an indefinite strike action on Monday, said their action was a result of non-payment of their 11 months salaries by the hospital management.

The workers locked the two gates leading to the hospital premises, making it difficult for both the staff and patients to gain entry into the hospital premises.
