THE House of Representatives has passed a resolution to allow President Muhammadu Buhari to address the joint sitting of the two chambers of the National Assembly by 10 am tomorrow for the presentation of 2019 appropriation bill
This followed the motion moved to that effect by the House Leader, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila which was unanimously supported by members at the ongoing plenary.
Available information revealed that a similar process was ongoing at the Senate Chamber where the President’s letter on the budget proposal was expected to be read after which a resolution would be passed.
The passage of the resolution by the green chamber put an end to the fears being entertained over the presentation of the document before the lawmakers following the ongoing strike being embarked upon by the workers of the National Assembly.
