Osinbajo hosts ex-VP Sambo in Aso Rock

ACTING President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday received his immediate predecessor in office, Namadi Sambo, who came to visit him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Sambo was personally received by Osinbajo at the entrance of his office at 4pm and they met thereafter behind closed doors for one hour.

At the end of the meeting, Sambo told State House correspondents that he was at the acting President’s office for a familiarisation visit.

He explained that the visit was normal as current and former presidents visit themselves and the same thing applies to present and former vice presidents.
