Senator Ali Ndume, a top contender for the position of the Senate President in the 9th National Assembly, has arrived the premises of the federal parliament for the inauguration and leadership election.
Ndume, on his arrival, exchanged pleasantries people around and headed straight to the Assembly mosque to pray.
Also former Imo State governor and the Senator-elect for Imo West district, Rochas Okorocha, was sighted entering into the National Assembly premises leading to the annex office of the Senate President at about 7:45 am.
However, the reason for his presence at the Assembly premises could not be ascertained yet, and it hasn’t been confirmed whether he has been cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take part in the inauguration
