NASS to hold ’emergency’ joint session over threat to national security

The two chambers of the national assembly will on Tuesday afternoon jointly hold a session over the political tension threatening the national security.

The decision to hold a joint session is consequent upon the outcome of a separate meeting held on Monday by some members of the National Assembly, where they discussed the best way to address perceived “assault” on its members by the executive.

It was gather that at the all night meeting, an impeachment option was said to have been suggested to commence against President Muhammadu Buhari.
