[BREAKING] Insecurity: Abaribe calls for APC govt, Buhari’s resignation

Senate minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) government should resign following its inability to keep Nigeria safe.

He said his position was predicated on the fact that it failed to deliver on the promises made to the people in 2015 and 2019.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement that he was surprised at the rate of insecurity in the country was indeed perplexing to him and Nigerians.

Therefore, the President should resign alongside his government.

Speaking in Nigerian’s Pidgin English, he said: “Mr President, this your surprise, surprise me.”

He reminded the APC government that it has asked Nigerians to stone them if they fail to deliver on security.
