Kerosene-testing orchestrated fire has burnt several goods worth a fortune at Warri Main Market Tuesday evening.

Tribune Online can report that affected traders and commuters scampered to put out the fire as fire fighters we’re being expected.

A car and stores caught in the inferno near Oghe-Ijoh market which is notorious for fire disaster annually.

Most of the stores harbour illegally refined petroleum products which are ferried in plastic kegs from the creeks.

Wailing sympathizers said the fire was ignited by merchants of the illegally refined kerosene who were testing the quality.

As of the time of this report, manual efforts were still on to put out the fire.
