The fate of millions of Nigerian electorate still hangs on a decision yet to be made public by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) whether it has postponed the Saturday elections as being rumoured or it holds as planned.
To clarify this, journalists who have been keeping vigil at the Abuja headquarters office of the Commission, after the emergency stakeholders meeting, asked the Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, whether the election has been postponed or not, but he simply responded: “A decision has been taken, but you would have to hear from the horse’s mouth.”
