BREAKING: Amosun loses Local Government to APC

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, lost Abeokuta South Local Government where he voted to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday governorship election in the state.
Amosun is the Senator-elect for Ogun Central Senatorial District on the platform of APC, however,  supporting the candidature of Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
The Local Government Collation Officer, Dr Sikiru Oluwole, announced that the APC scored a total number of 19,414 votes which was closely followed with APM polling 18,767 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 13,572 while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 1,770 votes respectively.
