Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and former governor, Segun Osoba, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja.
They were in the president’s office on Thursday to canvass for assistance for the state in the area of development.

Speaking to State House correspondents after the meeting, Governor Abiodun said they had come to press him to approve the handover of Epe-Ijebu Ode and Lagos-Shagamu roads to Ogun and Lagos states.
He said the states have been able to secure the necessary funds to rehabilitate the roads as they were important for the states’ rapid development.
