Two persons, suspected to have been members of the gang that abducted the director of the Lagos Fire Service, Rasak Musibau and six others have been arrested.
The two suspects, Blessing Bayo and Smart Alfred were early Wednesday arrested by the police, some hours after their victims regained their freedom.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana confirmed the arrested of the suspects.

Elkana said: “Blessing Bayo ‘m’ 29yrs and Smart Alfred ‘m’ 32yrs all of Arogbo, Ondo State were arrested at Ibafun along Ikorodu-Ijebu Ode Expressway, a boundary community with Ogun State and they all confessed to the commission of the crime.
“Two single barrel guns were recovered from them. The investigation is ongoing, efforts are in place to arrest other fleeing members of the gang,” he also added.
