Bread seller, Olajumoke set to become bakery owner

Published by

The grass to grace story of Olajumoke Orisaguna, the bread seller turned celebrity has continued to be in the news since her breakthrough.

This time, fate has again smiled on the mother of two as she will soon become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a bakery in the heart of Lagos State.

R gathered that the outfit in honour of Olajumoke, which was part of the plans of Sijibomi Ogundele of Sujimoto Construction Limited (SCL), might cost more than N5 million.

According to an interview granted to weekly entertainment magazine, Ogundele said: “For the past few months, we have known her, we realised that Olajumoke is a lifetime project. We want to engage her, not just to give her an apartment. What would happen if the rent expires in the next five years. Yes, she is a model but that is not enough. She is a mother of two and her husband does not have a job. We pay her monthly salary, but before the end of the year, we want a bakery for her. Her story came from selling bread, hopefully by the grace of God, we pray God gives us life and hope; we would create the bread of hope where she would work.

Ogundele also expressed his confidence in Olajumoke, saying, “She is an entrepreneur, she knows how to add this to that and as a result of this, we are trying to maximise her potentials. No matter how small the bakery would be, we want to try to see what we can do with it.”
