THERE is controversy in Kogi State by the publication of the governor’s alleged double voter registration, an act that the INEC described as a violation of the law and which, by any interpretation, is a crime.
The same INEC declared the governorship election of November 21, 2015 as inconclusive, leading to a replacement that the party adjudged right but which was constitutionally contentious.
Some questions arise in connection with this development. Is INEC indicating that the youths of Kogi State or any other citizens could register two or three times and at wrong locations?
Does it mean that David Cameron, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, could have remained in office after the Brexit referendum results?
