Bola Tinubu’s unusual birthday gift

City lawyer and wife of Oando Plc’s boss, Wale Tinubu, Bola added a new age recently. As usual, the very quiet woman favoured a low key celebration by marking the day with members of her immediate family.

Some hours into the celebration came what served as her big birthday gift. The pretty lawyer was browsing her mail when she got a notification that brought the message of her being elected as a Fellow of the prestigious United Kingdom-based Good Governance Institute.

The mail brought warm feelings to her and she was quick to share it with her family members and numerous friends and admirers.

The woman lives an exemplary life as she dedicates herself to the fight against child abuse in Nigeria with her Cece Yara Foundation, which boasts of solving a large number of child abuse cases and related issues.

Not new to winning accolades, she made the list of the BBC’s 100 Women of 2018 recently.
