Bobrisky ‘arrested’ by Immigration while trying to flee Nigeria — VeryDarkMan

Social media activist Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has alleged that Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has been arrested by he Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).

The activist claimed in a video posted on his Instagram page on Monday that Bobrisky was apprehended at the Seme border while attempting to flee to the Benin Republic to avoid an ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives.

VDM stated, “Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at Seme border while trying to enter Benin Republic to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by Nigeria Immigration.”

This follows recent allegations made by VDM, including the release of an audio recording where Bobrisky reportedly claimed to have bribed officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million.

In the audio, Bobrisky also alleged that his six-month jail sentence at Kirikiri prison was not served due to the intervention of his influential godfather.

The revelations have sparked an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives.

However, Bobrisky failed to attend the session, citing illness as the reason for his absence.
