The long wait for Blinx’s new video appears to be over as the singer Blinx announced the release of visuals for his single ‘Lavish’ off his popular Extended Play (EP) entitled “Pain, Suffering & Sacrifice.”
After a brief hiatus necessitated by several production delays, the video was shot on location in Capetown, South Africa.
Speaking about the video in an interview with Tribune Online, Blinx disclosed that the visuals were directed by Juzzy and released on January 7, and premiered on MTVBase & SoundcityTV the same week.
According to him, shooting the video was important to his come-back after staying away for a while, adding that This video is the second released project coming off his debut EP.
The seven-track album, which was released in late 2021 also featured YUNG6IX and several other artistes.
” I am excited about this video. The first video off the EP was for “LEMON PEPPER freestyle”, with cover bonus track produced by 1ld Beats featuring Carlton Takudzwa Chakoma better known as CTN. The video also premiered on SOUNDCITY TV, HIPTV and MTVBase to rave reviews.
Obinna Okolie aka ‘Blinx’ is a Capetown South Africa based Nigerian rapper, songwriter and producer.
He hinted that he is currently working on several projects, which include his 20 track debut album which is slated for release in the last quarter of 2022.
