In an emotional interview on Talk to B with Biola Adebayo, Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus opened up about her health struggles and accused veteran singer Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, of abandoning their son, Malik.
The 40-year-old actress, who has been a prominent figure in Nollywood for over two decades, revealed the devastating impact of her life-threatening brain condition, encephalopathy, which forced her to take a three-year break from social media.
During her interview, she recounted the early stages of her illness, explaining how she suffered from memory loss, even struggling to recognise her own son, Malik, and other loved ones.
Bisola also shared that she had to sell her cars to afford her medication while dealing with the heartbreaking loss of her mother and brother during her ordeal.
Speaking on the strained relationship between Malik and his father, K1 De Ultimate, she expressed her frustration over the Fuji maestro’s change of attitude towards their son. According to her, K1 initially accepted Malik as his child but later distanced himself.
In Bisola’s words, “What I want from K1 is for him to take responsibility for Malik, his son. He did help for a while after learning about my condition, but then stopped.”
