The Methodist Bishop of Nsukka/Eha-Amufu, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Eze, in the spirit of yuletide, donated N500,000 to a Christian convert, Nnamdi Samuel.
He made the donation at Ikem in Isi-Uzo Local Government of Enugu State during a three-day open-air crusade.
Samuel, a native of Ikem who attended the crusade, gave his life to Christ after the ministration of God’s servant.
Thus, the Bishop decided to make the donation to the convert, advising him to use the money to better his life.
Also, in a remarkable display of kindness and generosity, the Methodist Bishop gave out free fuel to all bike riders in the community to enable them to celebrate this year’s yuletide.
The Bishop’s gesture, which caught many by surprise, was aimed at alleviating the financial burden on commercial motorcyclists and bringing some relief to commuters during the festive period.
“I am thrilled to see the smiles on the faces of these hard-working bike riders during the fuel giveaway.
“As a church, we are committed to serving the community and making a positive impact on people’s lives.”
The free fuel giveaway, which took place at the Eha Amufu Motor Park, attracted hundreds of bike riders who were thrilled to receive the unexpected gift.
